2/19/09 Got an awesome deal on a C-One rear "diffuser". Probably going to paint it black. My advice to new owners, don't cut the stock diffuser piece between the exhaust tips, you may regret it later. I'm hoping this will help keep me out of any more "Modified Exhaust" tickets too. :)
2/6/09 My interest in my cars has it's highs and lows over time. Lately it's been much higher than the past few years, but the weather is terrible, there's not much I can do. This summer I plan to lock down my daily driver tuning, and start modding the widebody heavily. Far future plans are for a gen3 3SGTE to go into my panda Corolla, I've already got most of the parts for this except the engine. The blacktop 20v in the Corolla revs nicely, but it struggles to do what the 3S can do even off boost. Lastly, my project car with my Dad, 1971 Mach1 Mustang, threw a rod about 6 months ago, and is finally about to hit the road again. Should put down close to 400 at the wheels, a big jump from the 230 or so it had before. Looking forward to that! -Pat
1/30/09 My MR2 got damaged while I was away on vacation, had the rear bumper repainted, and the trim that surrounds the rear window and 3rd brake light. They did a pretty good job, not perfect, but I'm picky about paint. Good enough, better than the rest of the paint, so I'm probably going to leave it as is. Whenever you have something perfect, it will get messed up anyways, right?
1/23/09 Pic of some fun I had with my buddies car in Hawaii, replaced waterpump and fixed a broken bolt on the timing belt tensioner. Added my facebook at the bottom of this page...
11/12/08 Had some help with my car from Kris at KO Racing. Made some good progress, but ran into a fuel pump problem that I'm working out at the moment. If you're in the area, and need some work done on your car, give KO a call, HIGHLY recommended.
8/1/2008 25mm spacers in the rear to fit the 17x9 +38 SSR Integrals, looks like it will work.
About 10mm needed up front, but I need longer studs before I can try it out.
